Writing
Tom, Deb, and I met Tuesday, January 15, 2008, in the high school library for close to an hour.
We have chosen to write narratives to introduce the curriculum for each HA course.
We may be creating (or borrowing from another school!) a scope and sequence for each level. Curriculum mapping is also something we are looking into.
We would like to meet every Wednesday. We want to have senior and junior English curriculum written before the next Broadbase HA meeting.
Online Citation Guide Review
Hello, All!
After checking out the three examples, I would select Citation Builder as my ‘favorite’ online citation guide. I’ve used EasyBib for the past year, because it was the only one I knew about. After comparing, I’m really disappointed with myself for using it, BUT…I didn’t really know any better. It’s what the GT teacher uses, so I used it!
I really appreciated the ’straight-forwardness’ of Citation Builder. Not a lot of ‘fussyness.’ As long as my students had all their ‘cards’ in order, this would be a snap for them to use.
I felt that Citation Machine had too much extra material…ads…and so forth. I try to look at things from the ’students’ eyes.’ They would open that page and start asking me, “What am I supposed to put here?”
